Day 5

The tile is like 99% up! The remainder is just the edges where the tile is actually being left in the house. I was excited to see it all gone, okay not gone, cause there are still tile piles all over the downstairs, but you know what I mean!

Here's a good picture of one of the reasons we are updating the stairs, to the right you can see the front door, to the left see the wall.  You walk into the front door right into a wall. Yeah, we're hoping the railing will open up that area. 

This room had vinyl flooring, I know what you're thinking... Why would you remove such a classy floor.  Sorry folks, sacrifices sometimes need to be made.  Oh, and that wasn't the only vinyl flooring in the house... lucky us. The previous owner liked vinyl flooring about as much as they liked brass fixtures.
